Something something, anti-communism is a key part of fascism, something something, non-fascists anti-communists tend to be fascist bootlickers/sympathizers.
Sorry liberal but the far-right will be more “toned down” into making you think there are no fascists and nazis on your anti-commie subreddit.
When they aren’t overlooking Fascism’s anticommunism, their impression seems to be that it was either some supplementary afterthought or at least completely different from (and presumably incompatible with) liberal anticommunism. As my many threads on capitalismindecay have hinted, neither of those impressions is correct.
Those impressions, combined with their repetitive invocations of horseshoe theory, and their ignorance of fascism in general, means that they’re going to be incompetent at and lazy with spotting and purging cryptofascists in their free speech zone. Quite honestly, I seriously doubt that anybody unjokingly glorifying the utopian neofascism depicted in Starship Troopers would have a hard time there at all.
