    A leak with no leaked documents, just the word of some guy that Newsweek says is a credible source. Given Newsweek’s history of publishing complete bullshit, I would not put it past them making this up, or at least being duped into publishing it.

      Given what we know about CIA and the Pentagon, I’d say this tracks pretty well actually.

        So because USA is evil that means take Newsweek’s word for all this? Theyve been a tabloid rag for decades now why the hell should they be trusted?

          I’m not saying we should just take Newsweek’s word for it, but it’s something to keep an eye on because it fits the pattern of what US has been doing. Also, I’m not really familiar with what makes Newsweek more of a rag than most western media. You seem to have particular hate for them.

            I have a particular hate for any media company that uses sensationalized clickbait headlines and non stories. Maybe you should stop posting their articles so much.

                  And so I don’t see what makes Newsweek special here. They report stuff, and sometimes it’s bullshit. So, you just have to use your judgment on how likely the story is.
