    That doesn’t answer my question in any way whatsoever and I don’t know why you thought it was relevant. “Has the Chinese ruling party provided an explicit reason for why this type of content is changed?” I’m not asking for our speculation.

      Yes, their cultural ministry repeatedly said they remove pornography and violence from content for children.

        Great, what I’m looking for is an explicit example of that, because I dont’ know where to find it. Any suggestions or links?

        edit: to clarify, I’m not sure if ‘demon slayer’ is ‘content for children’ even if it’s about teenagers who I think shouldn’t be sexualized, so I’m looking for something relevant to why the kind of censorship in the opening post is censored.
