What a god damn coincidence! I just came home, and on the last street with a stop sign I had to cross, there was a person driving one of those oversized American-style pickup trucks that kept inching forward even after I started walking on the road. I had to stop just before the truck. I gave a “WTF” gesture with my arms, and when he noticed, he smiled and waved kind of sheepishly before driving off. Pretty sure he straight up couldn’t see me, an average height adult. Imagine if I had been a small child with a less firm grasp on road safety.
