Bandcamp is awesome. It’s mostly not free, sure, but it’s one of the very few stores that offer DRM-free downloads of music in multiple formats.
youtube-dl works with Bandcamp assuming the sample tracks are all public. The quality depends on what the artist uploads for the sample tracks. This means sometimes you get FLAC.
